Katie Boucher

Integrative therapist

I believe our emotional struggles are deeply shaped by our relationships and life experiences. As a relational, integrative therapist, I draw from Transactional Analysis, Psychoanalytic, Humanistic, Gestalt, Jungian, and trauma-informed approaches — but our relationship is always at the heart of the work, shaped around your unique story, rather than a set method.

Together we’ll explore your experiences and patterns at your pace, in a space rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect. You won’t be judged, fixed, or analysed. Through a relationship built on acceptance and empathy, new possibilities can emerge — a place to be yourself, take risks, and experiment with new ways of relating.

All of you is welcome. I work with people across all backgrounds and identities in a culturally responsive way. I identify as queer (she/her/hers) and have lived and worked internationally, which informs my understanding of identity and belonging.

I also work as a therapist alongside those with complex mental health presentations at a housing charity.

I have particular experience working with belonging, depression and anxiety, bereavement and loss, coping mechanisms and addictions, chronic immune health conditions, and changes in identity
