I am an integrative therapist, drawing on humanistic, Gestalt and trauma-informed approaches. While these perspectives inform my practice, I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the heart of our work. Rather than being bound to any particular method, I draw on what feels most helpful for you as an individual, with our relationship providing the foundation for everything we explore together.
Our space will be one where you feel heard, accepted and free from judgement, while also feeling able to explore experiences, thoughts and patterns that may be difficult or uncomfortable. I see therapy as a collaborative process, shaped by your experiences and needs and believe that curiosity, honesty and gentle challenge can all have an important place within that.
My experience spans a wide range of support and therapeutic settings, including community development, mental health and learning disability services. I have worked with people from many different backgrounds, identities and walks of life, experiences which have strengthened my commitment to meeting each person with openness, respect and without assumption.
I hope that, together, we can create a space where you feel able to bring whatever is important to you, at your own pace, and begin to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and what you want for your future.
