Following a degree in Psychology I retrained and worked as a lawyer for many years.
I am passionate about and understand from lived experience the importance of support to help you work towards achieving good mental health.
I am BACP registered with an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling and also an Advanced Diploma in Educational and Therapeutic Application of the Arts (using creative techniques to help you connect and understand, when words are not enough).
I provide an inclusive and safe space to explore concerns and distress and support and encourage the truth, working in a creative and flexible way tailored to your needs. I work alongside you to aid your connection with and regulation of emotions, gain insight and awareness of patterns of behaving, creating opportunities to facilitate positive change. I have a particular interest in neurodiversity, trauma, attachment and relationships, life transitions and living with pain or chronic illness.
